Stacy Freudigmann is the Managing Director and Founder of the Canadian Engineering Company (Canenco), who has been providing consulting services to the mining industry since 2010. Stacy is a SME, project manager, process manager and metallurgical engineer with 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He brings with him the proven ability to oversee large engineering studies and construction for mining clients, including PEA’s, Prefeasibility and Feasibility studies, Basic and Detailed Engineering work, as well as managing complex metallurgical, hydrometallurgical, pyrometallurgical, sorting and process issues. He has assisted numerous mining companies around the world such as Teck, BHP, Sabina Gold & Silver, Candente Copper, Nyrstar, Dalradian, Taseko, etc... Greg Mosher P.Geo. - Geology
Greg has more than 40 years of geology experience with project locations across North and South America, Asia, Greenland, North Africa, and Europe. Projects have included technical evaluations of mining operations and mineral properties, mineral resource estimations, design and management of geological exploration programmes including mapping, geochemical and geophysical surveying and diamond drilling. Major projects have involved co-operative efforts with mining, metallurgical, and civil engineering disciplines in the completion of scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies. Greg has been author of numerous technical reports, primarily for National Instrument 43-101 and JORC reporting codes, for junior and intermediate exploration and mining companies. Greg is a Qualified Person for NI 43-101 and JORC technical reporting on many mineral deposit types and mineral resource estimation.
Connor Malek - Geology
Connor has been active in the mineral exploration business for over 13 years. Following two years’ experience in remote geochemical sampling and underground and open-pit gold production in Western Australia, Connor completed a B.Sc. (Honors) in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan. He has worked on the expansion of Nexgen Energy’s Arrow uranium deposit before partnering to form First Geolas Consulting. With extensive experience in the research and exploration of many commodities in multiple geological environments and jurisdictions, Connor has come to manage numerous prospecting, geochemical sampling, geophysical, and complex drilling programs, specializing in efficient planning, execution and reporting on field work.
Tony Loschiavo P.Eng. - Mining
Tony, founder of AKF Mining Services, is a professional mining engineer with over 20 years of practical experience in both mining operations and consulting; specialising in open pit mine design and planning, ore resource and reserve evaluation, and economic analysis. Tony has worked on major projects in Canada, USA, China, Russia, Romania, Central and South America and has held senior and management positions with mining companies. Expertise includes all aspects of mining including Notice of Work (NoW), Mine Permitting, License of Occupation, Mineral Resources & Mineral Reserves, Open Pit Optimizations, Open Pit & Underground Mine Design and Planning Studies, Production Scheduling (short-, mid-, long-term), Equipment Selection, Economic Analysis, Scoping Studies, 43-101 Resource Reports, JORC and PEAs, Project Management and Operational Support. Tom Schouldice P.Eng. - Metallurgy
Tom is one of the mining industries preeminent Metallurgists, with over 30 years of experience in extractive metallurgy, design and management of mineral processing facilities. Tom, now founder of TS technical Services Ltd., graduated in metallurgy from Queen’s University in 1993 and specialises in process mineralogy, froth flotation and analysis and direction of metallurgical test programs. Tom has held operational roles at Cominco where he worked at Sullivan Mine (Pb-Zn), Vanscoy (Potash), Highland Valley Copper (Cu-Mo) and Red Dog (Pb-Zn). Tom joined G&T Metallurgical Services as the Manager of Technical Services and eventually became part owner and President of the company which was later acquired. He was one of the founding partners of Base Metallurgical Laboratories and in 2020 was recognised by his peers with CMP Mineral Processor of the Year award.
Kelly McLeod P.Eng. - Process Design
Kelly is a Senior Process Design Engineer and Metallurgist with 20 years of experience in metallurgy, design and management of mineral processing facilities for gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, molybdenum, coal and rare earths projects and founder of K-Met Consultants Inc. Expertise includes all aspects of test work and flowsheet development including plant design, capital and operating costs for input into economic models. Kelly has been a QP for many mining engineering projects ranging from PEA’s to Bankable Feasibility studies and NI43-101 reports. Her area of expertise covers the design and management of metallurgical sampling and testing programs with the establishment of process design criteria and process flow diagrams, plant commissioning, optimization, de-bottlenecking, and operations support, equipment sizing, procurement and selection, processing capital and operating cost estimation and review, HAZOP reviews and facilitation and, confidential technical due diligence reviews and assessments of projects and operations worldwide.
Gavin Ritson - Process Design
Gavin has almost 30 years of experience in the mineral processing industry. His responsibilities included coordinating resources, sponsoring and managing projects as well as project evaluation and process design. His experience includes twenty one years in consulting engineering, where he designed process facilities and managed both studies and detailed engineering projects. Gavin has worked in mineral processing operations around the world, and has globally recognized expertise in metal processing with specialization in gold. Prior to consulting, he spent seven years in operations working for Anglo American in South Africa. His operational experience included process and management responsibility for some of Anglo American's largest gold leaching operations.
Lisa Rolandi - Design
Lisa’s extensive 30 + years of experience has mainly focused on green and brown field mineral processing plants from conceptual design through construction. Lisa has worked in design and supervision for the production of layout, general arrangement, and detail drawings. She is also experienced in the preparation, review and handling of all project design criteria’s and specifications. Other responsibilities have included multi discipline design co-ordination of projects often over several offices.
Sean Meldrum - Estimation
Sean is a Professional Quantity Surveyor and technologist with over 10 years experience working in the mining & metals industry. Skilled in Cost Estimation, Quantity Surveying, Project Controls, Cost Management, Scheduling, and Engineering. He has completed large mining and infrastructure projects around the world for several Tier 1 companies from the concept stage to feasibility and onto construction. Sean is detailed oriented with strong problem solving and time management skills meeting project deadlines on time and on budget.
Krisztina Pandur Ph.D. - Mineralogy & Geology
Krisztina has been involved in the mineral exploration industry since 2011. She has been engaged in a variety of exploration projects throughout Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Ontario, Nunavut, and the Yukon, with focus on structurally controlled uranium, REE, orogenic gold, SEDEX Pb-Zn, pegmatite hosted Li, orthomagmatic Ni-Cu, and epithermal Ag-Pb-Zn vein deposits. She has experience in geological mapping, prospecting, supervising diamond drill programs and core logging teams. She holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan (2015). She specializes in rare earth element and porphyry Cu-Mo mineralization, and her academic interests include petrography and fluid inclusion research.
Alex Doll - Grinding
Alex, an associate of Canenco, is Founder of SAGMilling.com and is globally recognized expert in grinding and comminution circuit design. He has consulted to senior grinding system specialists, performing detailed calculations, data analysis, testwork program development and supervision, and geometallurgical model creation for communition studies. Studies include conceptual through feasibility to detailed design and auditing of existing milling circuits. Alex has developed software for grinding system design and consulting on sample collection, comminution testwork program design and execution for scoping and feasibility studies.
Arvin Mazhary - Sorting
Arvin is a Senior Operations Metallurgist and a process and chemical engineer, with years of sensor-based ore sorting technology experience, both in theory and operations, undertaking test programs and sorting designs for gold and base metal clients. He has years of experience at Design of Experiment (DOE) and statistical analysis using Minitab.
